How do I download photos and video to my PC?
You can connect your camera directly to your PC using a Mini USB cable. If you are having trouble connecting your PC and camera directly to download files you can always remove the Micro SD card from your camera and read it directly from your computer. You may need an SD card adapter to read it on your PC.
What is the difference between the KPT-200 and KPT-250?
The main difference between them is their resolution. The KPT-200 records in native 720P and the KPT-250 records in native 1080P.
How do I set the date and time on my KPT-200?
Ensure the camera is in standby mode / not recording
Press the Menu button twice to enter the second menu screen
Press the Down button once to highlight Date/Time and press the Record/Select button to enter the setting mode
Press the Up and Down keys to make your selections
Press the Record/Select button to move between fields
Once your settings are finalised, press the Menu button to save your settings.
How does “Loop Recording” work on the KPT-200?
Loop recording will record over previously recorded data on an ongoing basis in blocks of time as set by you in the menu. They can either be manually saved by you or automatically by the G-Sensor setting.
All footage is recorded onto your memory card, regardless of incident or not. (Unless your memory card is full of saved incidents in which case you should save the files to your PC and empty the memory card before placing it back in your KPT-200)
In the case of an incident, you can manually save the most recent video time block by using the “SOS Function”:
When in video capture mode, in the case of an incident that occurs in front of your car, press the “Menu” button.
This will ensure the current recording is locked and saved for later review and will not be overwritten.
For the KPT-200, the following minutes of video can be recorded per 1 GB of memory for the following resolutions:
